The CCRB's Administrative Prosecution Unit (APU) prosecutes the most serious substantiated misconduct cases at NYPD disciplinary trials before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH). Each quarter the APU publishes a report on its caseload and outcomes: cases received and closed, pleas, trial verdicts, the penalties it recommended, and how often the Police Commissioner followed them.
