Issue-based reports

Civilian Complaint Review Board · document

Apart from its routine statistical and annual reports, the CCRB publishes issue-based reports: standalone studies that each examine one pattern in police misconduct and recommend changes to NYPD policy, procedure, and training. The reports listed here date to 1997 and cover topics such as the impact of body-worn cameras on investigations, chokeholds and other prohibited force, Taser use, improper entries and searches, stop-and-frisk, bias in LGBTQ-related complaints, and the 2020 protests.
