The 67th Precinct Clergy Council Inc, known as The GodSquad, is a Brooklyn faith-based coalition of clergy formally established in 2010 (based at 3805 Church Avenue, East Flatbush) that works on gun violence prevention, crisis response and police-community liaison work, including its Clergy For Safe Cities training initiative and Flatbush Leadership Academy youth program (per 67clergycouncil.org). It holds three active NYC contracts worth $9 million, including "CMS Violence Prevention" with the Department of Youth and Community Development and the "Partners Against the Hate (PATH) Extension" with the Office of Criminal Justice, both renewed/negotiated without a fresh bid. Across 20 contracts since 2017 totaling $35 million all-time, 100% of contract value ($35 million across 19 contracts) was awarded without a fresh competitive bid, and the city has paid it $25 million to date. It has also received $215,963 in City Council discretionary (member-item) funding across 21 awards since FY2009, funded every year since FY2019, largely steered by Council Member Farah N. Louis.
