In New York City it supplies liquid aluminum sulfate and polyaluminum chloride through the DCAS Division of Municipal Supply Service; earlier contract titles specify this aluminum sulfate was procured for the Department of Environmental Protection. Its current $12 million contract is tagged "Accelerated (expedited bid)" on Checkbook NYC, a competitive award method, and only 5% of the value of city contracts it has been awarded since 2015 (about $1.7 million of $37 million total) was awarded without a fresh competitive bid.
