Fairfield Service Company of Indiana LLC, per the parent company's own website, is based in Michigan City, Indiana (a sister facility to Ohio based Fairfield Service Company) and manufactures wastewater treatment equipment, including sludge collectors, screens, clarifiers, and grit collection systems, for municipal and industrial plants. It supplies NYC's DCAS Division of Municipal Supply Service, which procures on behalf of the Department of Environmental Protection, with replacement parts and equipment for city wastewater facilities; its current $1.1 million contract for settling tank sludge collector flights was awarded by competitive sealed bid, as were five of its other six registered city contracts since 2012 (the sixth, a small purchase, was also competitively awarded). The company has been awarded about $27 million in NYC contracts all time.
