Hardesty & Hanover - Liro JV is a joint venture of two engineering and construction management firms. Hardesty & Hanover, per its own website, is a bridge and infrastructure engineering firm headquartered in New York City (1501 Broadway) that describes itself as operating for more than 139 years. The LiRo Group (also doing business as LiRo-Hill), per its own website, is a construction and program management firm founded in 1984 and based in New York. Together the JV holds two active NYC Department of Transportation contracts worth $34 million: a Master Agreement titled "Master Agreement to serve as Owner's Representative to manag" worth $25 million, and "REI: reconstruction of Broadway Bridge/Harlem River" worth $9 million, both awarded through RFP. A third, now-ended contract, "Design-Build: Reab-4 Belt P'way Bridges, Brooklyn" (ended 2025, $2.7 million), was tagged "Multiple award." All three of the JV's contracts on Checkbook NYC are competitively procured; none are no-bid.
