Siemens Electrical, LLC is a Siemens electrical-construction subsidiary that performed high- and low-voltage electrical work on NYC water infrastructure, including the Croton Water Filtration Plant and Wards Island and 26th Ward treatment plants; in 2013 it entered a deferred prosecution agreement with the Manhattan DA and forfeited $10 million after admitting it fabricated minority-business subcontracting participation on these projects. It has $293.7 million in NYC contracts awarded since 2006 (all now expired) with the Department of Environmental Protection, $292.4 million paid to date, all won through competitive sealed bidding.
