Talkspace Medical Services NY PC is the New York entity that holds New York City's contract for the "NYC Teenspace" program, under which Talkspace, Inc. (Nasdaq: TALK), the publicly traded telehealth company, gives NYC teens ages 13 to 17 free access to licensed therapists by phone, video, and text. The $26 million, three-year contract was awarded by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene through a non-competitive "Demonstration project" process, and the site's no-bid metric shows 100% of the $26 million contract value was won without a fresh competitive bid. The program launched citywide on November 15, 2023, and Checkbook NYC records show $20.6 million paid to date.
