Urs/malcolm Pirnie, Inc. JV was a construction-management joint venture of URS Corporation (a global engineering and construction firm later absorbed into AECOM) and Malcolm Pirnie (an environmental engineering firm later merged into Arcadis), formed to provide construction management for the NYC Department of Environmental Protection's Croton Water Treatment Plant beneath Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Its single competitively bid RFP contract, registered in 2002 and expired in 2020, grew from $63.4 million to $200.1 million through 19 amendments, with $200.0 million paid to date.
