At its second meeting of the new term, the Council approved Res 0001-2026 amending its rules to establish standing committees and Res 0002-2026 setting committee memberships, and approved Nantasha Williams as Deputy Speaker. The Council also confirmed leadership committee assignments (M 0034 through M 0037) and referred 30 land use applications and the mayoral nomination of Steven Banks to committees.
