The Committee on Finance held three FY2027 executive budget hearings on June 5, each jointly with a health-focused committee. It reviewed the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in two consecutive sessions, with the Committee on Health and then with the Committee on Mental Health and Substance Use. NYC Health + Hospitals was reviewed in a third session, jointly with the Committee on Hospitals.
