Jointly with the Committee on Health and the Committee on Hospitals.
Held a joint oversight hearing with the Committees on Health and Hospitals on access to reproductive health care for New Yorkers with disabilities. Members also took testimony on a package of bills, including Int 0941 requiring the health department to develop disability and accessibility guidance and training for health care settings, Int 0953 to make medication abortion available at no cost at city sexual health clinics, and Int 0200 to create resources for doulas, along with resolutions on insurance coverage for fertility testing and IVF. No items were voted on at this hearing.
