Jointly with the Committee on Disabilities and the Committee on Hospitals
Held a joint oversight hearing with the Committees on Hospitals and Disabilities on access to reproductive health care for New Yorkers with disabilities. The committee heard a slate of bills, including Int 0953 to provide free medication abortion at city sexual health clinics, Int 0840 requiring health insurance coverage of pre-implantation testing for city employees, Int 0211 on fertility treatment information, and Int 0200 on doula resources, plus Res 0108 and Res 0089 urging state action on IVF tax credits and emergency contraception. All items were heard only, with no votes taken.
