The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure approved a four-bill package on outdoor dining. The bills would expand access to roadway cafes (Int 0655), require vertical winterization coverings for sidewalk cafes (Int 0894), set sanitation and cleanliness rules for roadway and sidewalk cafes (Int 0917), and pay cafe consent compensation in quarterly installments (Int 0918). The committee also adopted two related environmental review resolutions before sending the bills to the full Council.
