Attanasio & Associates Inc. was a Middle Village, Queens corporation, incorporated in New York in 1985 and dissolved in August 2023, that supplied English-language-learner and bilingual classroom materials, including custom classroom libraries and NYSESLAT and Regents test-prep collections, to school districts. Its only New York City money relationship was as a Department of Education vendor: two "Textbooks and Ancillary Materials" contracts drawn from DOE's pre-approved vendor listing, together worth $20 million and equal to 99% of the contract value awarded without a fresh competitive bid, plus eight small purchase orders of $25,000 each between 2017 and 2021 that city records tag as competitively awarded small purchases. All of its DOE contracts have expired; the city paid the company $17 million in total.
