The Catholic School Region of Northeast/East Bronx is one of nine geographic regions the Archdiocese of New York uses to administer its parochial elementary and high schools. Per the Archdiocese's own regional site, it groups 7 regional schools and 5 parish or private Catholic schools serving about 4,384 students, with a regional office at 2962 Harding Avenue in the Bronx. In city procurement records it functions as the contracting entity for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) services at those Bronx parish schools with the NYC Department of Education, holding $209 million in awarded contracts since 2014, of which $139 million has been paid to date.
