Hoyt Transportation Corp. is a family-owned, Bronx-based (with Brooklyn operations) school bus company providing NYC pupil transportation; in 2022 it settled with the NY Attorney General over excessive bus-yard idling, agreeing to pay penalties and implement an anti-idling program. It was awarded $996.9 million in Department of Education special-education transportation contracts since 2000 (all now expired, $972.6M paid to date), 62% of that value won without a fresh bid; it is chaired by Joseph Termini.
