Peraton Inc

City-funded organization

Peraton Inc. is a national-security and government-technology company headquartered in Reston, Virginia. It was created in 2017 when Veritas Capital acquired Harris Corporation's government-services business and renamed it Peraton, and it grew substantially in 2021 through acquisitions of Perspecta and Northrop Grumman's federal IT and mission-support business. Its New York City work is systems-maintenance and support: a $14 million renewal contract with the Office of the Comptroller titled "First Renewal of OAISIS DEVELOPMENT, MAINT, BC & DISASTER RE" (following a $12 million sole-source predecessor OAISIS contract that ended in 2024), two Department of Education contracts for "Maintenance and support of the DOE's contract processing sys," and two Fire Department contracts for "EMS CAD Maintenance & Support." All 8 of the company's registered city contracts, totaling $41 million awarded since 2021, were awarded without a fresh competitive bid (100% of contract value), through renewals, a sole-source award, negotiated contracts and assignments.
