Its main New York City relationship was a competitively bid Department of Education contract, "Transportation Services for Students with Disabilities," which was amended upward three times from $16 million to $59 million (a 268% increase) before ending in 2025, with $91 million spent on it. The company holds one small active DOE contract as of August 2026, a $25,000 "FMS Integration" award; the rest of the $60 million the DOE has awarded it since 2014 has expired, and the city has paid Vinny's Bus Service $91 million to date overall.
