Magen David Yeshivah is a Sephardic Jewish day school with Brooklyn campuses (an Early Childhood Center and Elementary School on McDonald Ave, a High School on Bay Parkway) serving early childhood through grade 12, and describes itself on its own website as a school that has served as "the cornerstone of the Sephardic community of New York for generations." Its city-money relationship runs mainly through the Department of Education, which has awarded it $20.3 million since 2010, the largest a $13.2 million "UPK-BTF" pre-kindergarten contract won competitively via RFP (ended 2026), plus smaller pre-kindergarten contracts including two renewals awarded without a fresh bid ($2.5 million and $1.0 million) and a $423,844 contract awarded through non-competitive "innovative procurement." The Department of Citywide Administrative Services separately funded several school security and security-guard reimbursement contracts at the school's elementary and high school campuses.
