An integrated marketing, creative, digital, and promotional-products agency operating as "Vanguard" (hellovanguard.com), whose New York City based Vanguard Direct business was acquired by The Sourcing Group in October 2025, per trade publication PPAI. On Checkbook NYC the LLC holds nine registered city contracts totaling $44 million since 2020, spread across DCAS, DOHMH, DoITT, the Board of Elections, FDNY, the Brooklyn Borough President's office, DOE, and Parks; 77% of that value ($34 million across six contracts) was awarded without a fresh competitive bid, including a $19 million DCAS supply-services contract and a $10 million DoITT "VANGUARD SI Class II Renewal" (both renewals, not re-bid), a $2 million Board of Elections public-education contract (also a renewal, not re-bid), a $1.6 million FDNY "Hosted Predictive Dialer System" contract (sole source), and smaller negotiated contracts at DOHMH and the Brooklyn Borough President's office. The remainder includes a $10 million DOHMH "Creative Development of Public Education" contract won by RFP and small purchase awards at DOE and Parks. $2.4 million has been paid to date.
